About the editor.

Hi, I’m Evanne! I am the award-winning editor behind Fleur de Lit Editorial, and I’m thrilled you’re reading this. I have been a fiction editor, proofreader, and French/English literary translator since 2015. In that time, I am proud to have been the editor of eight novels. My editorial work has been reviewed by the Manhattan Book Review, the San Francisco Book Review, the Seattle Book Review, and several other publications. I consider helping authors to achieve their creative vision to be my calling. My editorial philosophy is that the role of a good editor is to be a force of support to the author’s creative process. Tightening a narrative and polishing a manuscript while maintaining the author’s unique stylistic voice is something I consider to be of paramount importance. I welcome subject matter in the vein of the supernatural, the complex, and the steamy. I believe in a communicative collaboration between author and editor. I believe in personal dedication given to each and every author and manuscript I work with.

When I’m not wrist-deep in red ink you can find me first in line to see the latest horror movie, attending the opera, going on a nature walk, or home snuggling with my spoiled Persian cat.
